Zimbio is also a social platform you can use to promote your sites.  It is actually an online magazine where everyone can contribute.

There are a couple ways to contribute to Zimbio. Stumble Upon ~ most have heard of it, many spend tons of time lost in stumbling, me I spend a few minutes doing what needs to be done to promote my sites using Stumble Upon.
